makebeats runs entirely in your browser. Your beats live on your device and the audio engine is downloaded once, so there is no server doing work on your behalf every month. A subscription would be rent for a finished product — so Pro is priced as what it is: a thing you buy once and keep.

Is Pro a subscription?
No. It is a one-time $29 payment that unlocks the app for life. There are no renewals, no billing cycle and nothing to cancel later.
Can I use it on more than one device?
Yes. One purchase covers all your devices. Your first device unlocks at checkout; on any other device, open makebeats, choose Restore access and paste the license key from your receipt.
Do I need to create an account?
No account and no sign-up. Access is tied to a license key rather than a login, so there is no password to remember and no profile stored on our servers.
What if I get a new computer or clear my browser?
Restore it with your license key. The key is in the receipt Lemon Squeezy emails you after purchase — keep it somewhere safe, or email us and we can look it up.
Will future features cost extra?
No. Lifetime means lifetime: anything added to Pro after you buy is included. If we ever build something genuinely separate — like a cloud sync service with running costs — we would sell it as its own product rather than charge Pro owners again.
What is the refund policy?
